In these difficult times, reasons to celebrate and nourish the human spirit are more compelling than ever. To this end, we’ve created a season filled with the excitement, variety and excellence that you, our audience, have come to expect. Our musical oasis encompasses a spectrum of styles, genres and instrumentation that are sure to refresh and regenerate: Baroque, Romantic, Contemporary, Jazz and more!
We open with the swinging sounds of Clarinet Thing, followed by the Lee Trio sisters, presenting a world premiere by renowned Bay Area Composer Nathaniel Stookey. The season continues with rising stars the Afiara String Quartet and Baroque virtuosi Passamezzo Moderno. Culminating our season will be a string and piano quartet featuring local favorites Kay Stern, Elizabeth Prior, Thalia Moore, and Gwendolyn Mok.
As always, each evening you’re invited to a post-concert reception with the artists, a perfect way to end an extraordinary musical performance. We hope you will join us for these outstanding programs, as we very much look forward to seeing you again.
