Welcome to our 20th Season!
As we enter our 20th year presenting concerts in Julia Morgan's "little castle," my early vision of this series still seems like the proverbial dream come true: a gorgeous venue, fabulous performers, and a congenial blending of traditional and unusual music. You, our appreciative and ever growing audience, have helped realize this dream over the last two decades, for which we at BCP are deeply grateful.
To celebrate this milestone we have selected a rich mixture of three past favorites as well as two first timers onto our 2012-13 season. In October, 2012 enjoy the BCP debut of Bay Area favorite, the Ives Quartet, followed by the dazzling Neeman-Graber Duo (vn,pn) in November. Then, we warmly welcome back our friends STRATA (cl,vln/vla,pn) in January and the fabulous Lee Trio in March, returning to feature a world premier by film composer Lawrence Rosenthal. Our anniversary culminates in April with an encore appearance by the Debussy Trio (fl, vla, harp), who in 2007 inspired us to start what has become our successful Outreach Program.
