"My first true collaborative experience was with Ensemble Ari."
ARI's director and composer, Jean Ahn, spoke to Insight Chamber Players in 2025 about her career, her craft, and her longtime collaboration with the musicians of Ensemble ARI.
About The Program
Ensemble ARI takes its name from a Korean word meaning big river, wisdom, and beauty, qualities that run through a program of sweeping emotional depth. Its musicians, who have performed from Carnegie Hall to the San Francisco Symphony, trace the full arc of human experience. Vibrant new works by Ben Dorfan, Addie Camsuzou, Heeyoung Yang, and Jean Ahn (including Ahn's latest, Time to Weep, Time to Laugh) meet the timeless beauty of Clara Schumann's Piano Trio in G minor. Join us for a remarkable journey through the seasons of life.
